About
The Daily Divot is a not quite daily offering of the finer things related to golf. Subjects range from obscure historical nuggets and little-known wagering games, to great gift ideas, course reviews, and topical conversations about the professional tours, equipment, and course design. You may detect a slight regional tilt towards the Northern California area, but I make a point to tee it up wherever I travel and will often review a course thousands of miles from home.
I first learned to play from my grandfather at age 12, peaked as an NCAA Div III runner-up in the late-90’s, and continue to sport an index in the low single-digits when the sun is shining. Your comments and suggestions are always welcome and I encourage an active dialogue among contributors and visitors alike.
